The invention relates to new polymer compositions that have improved mechanical strength, stiffness, chemical resistance, heat resistance, and molding properties.
The aim of the invention is to increase the tensile strength as well as reduce the adsorption of water and methanol.
Example 1 The mixture obtained by mixing 83% by weight of nylon-46 in the form of granules, having a relative viscosity of 3.90, and 15% by weight of poly-p-phenylene sulfide in the form of a powder, is melted, mixed and granulated at 305 ° C using the form with an aperture of 300 mm. These granules are vacuum dried and used to form various kinds of test specimens for the purpose of measuring various physical properties using a compression mold at its cylinder and molds of 300 and 80 seconds, respectively.
The table shows the data of various physical properties.
The material has outstanding properties, improved performance: long-term heat resistance and chemical resistance compared to the known properties of polyamides by mixing polyamide with relatively small amounts of poly-p-phenylene sulfide.
Examples 2-7. The table shows the physical properties of the test samples obtained in example 1, but with other samples and the quantitative ratio of nylon-46 and poly-p-phenylene sulfide. In all cases, polyamide resin based compositions are better in terms of strength, stiffness, impact resistance ™, heat resistance and chemical resistance.
Example 8. A mixture of the mixture obtained by adding 45 wt. Hours is obtained by mixing in an extruder and casting under pressure as described in example 1.

Invention Formula
A composition comprising polyphenylene sulfide and polyamide, characterized in that, in order to increase the tensile strength, as well as decrease the adsorption of water and methanol, it contains polytetramethylene adipamide as a polyamide in the following ratio of components,% by weight:
